For those of you who want to know what oracle cards are I thought I would explain a little about them. When I came across oracle card decks, I was very curious, especially in the beginning with so many different ones. I myself have many different decks from all around the world. I prefer the oracle cards as I think they have more scope than tarot, probably a lot of people are going to disagree with that, but that’s my opinion.
I can read the tarot but they are not really for me. I watch tarot readings and I love them, but to read, not so much. I tend to channel when I am doing a reading so the cards are just a stepping stone so to speak.
What are oracle cards used for?
Oracle cards are in essence a spiritual guidance, a self-reflection, and a gaining of insight. They are a divination tool for introspection, helping you to connect with your most inner shadows, desires, blocks, fears, relationships and so on.
Oracle cards explore your life in the many deep layers of your consciousness, unconsciousness and subconsciousness. This may be through the images or symbolism on the cards and by using your intuition realise your most inner feelings and gain clarity on your questions.
Oracle cards can provide answers to seeking guidance, self-reflection and personal growth, connecting you with your intuition and creative inspiration. The cards can also be useful as clarification in other readings such as tarot and other divination tools.

To help decision making
To encourage introspection
Gain inner wisdom
For meditation
As journal prompts
To gain a sense of direction (if feeling a little lost)
For personal growth
To spark creative ideas
To provide inspiration in life
How to choose an oracle card deck
There are many, many oracle decks to choose from nowadays, too many. So, when deciding on a deck ask yourself what it is you are seeking the answer to? Or you could just put out the intention of which oracle deck would be the best for me right now. And one will appear when you are ready.
You may walk into a shop, or shop online and one will pop out to you, one that you can’t let go of. That’s your guides’ and the universe saying this one is the one for you. Use your intuition as well, it's usually right.
